Christmas gathering

or something like that. It was supposed to be a very formal affair initially, you know, dress up nicely and dine in a slightly pricey venue but we decided it's too restricted if we're going to be talking a lot of cock and making a lot of noise. We want a place where we can be ourselves with no decibel restriction so in the end, we settled for Berlin Beer Houz. There's food, there's alcohol, we can make as much noise as we want to, perfect!

The guy who needed to bitch his heart out for the night...look how happy he was... Next to him is Daniel whom we call citizen of the world. He has a very interesting life story; a Vietnamese born in Texas, grew up in different continents and countries like Switzerland, Indonesia and God knows where else cause I don't remember, has traveled 99% of Europe, speaks 6 different languages... in short, an interesting guy to get to know.

Daniel introduced me to his most favorite beer in the world, Belgian beer called Leffe Brune. The alcohol content is slightly higher than normal beer (at 6.5%). I took a sip and I knew instantly why it's his favorite. It's so smooth and easy to drink. If you minus out the calories I can sip it all day long ( no.. I'm already tipsy after the first pint wtf)

Finally got to eat my pork burger... a bit too salty but not bad at all!

The 3 guys ordered pork knuckle to share and were so excited bout the idea of eating it with German beer but it took more than an hour of waiting time and it never came. We asked the waiters countless times, promised to be served but in the end it still didn't come! The final excuse given by the chef was pork knuckle no longer nice wtf... in the end they ended up eating pork leg instead! Poor guys haha

We moved to The Library next door for second round after dinner. Tried this beer and didn't like it as much as Leffe.

It was a good night of fun and laughter. I feel blessed that my friends can get along so well with each other. We were like old friends coming together after 10 years of not seeing each other although that's not the case but hell we sure talked, joked, laughed like one.
