Fat loss

Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I am proud to announce yet another new achievement from fitness level point of view. As of last night when the measurement was taken, I have successfully reduced 5% body fat from last year.

I remembered the first time I ever measured my body fat %, I was skinny, not eating much and my body fat was like 14 or 15% I think, not healthy I know, too low.

Then I started to eat more... up to a point where.. I guess I started loving food so much I didn't care much of what I put into the mouth but still with a little caution. That and exercise.... but not that extreme kind.. more like go to the gym, lenggang a bit, take my own sweet time on a machine, break into small sweat and be satisfied with the amount of calories burned as shown on machine. Needless to say, not having enough sleep and eating suppers did not help either. It was when I stopped dragonboating for a while too. Took another measurement end of 2010. My body fat shot up to 24%. Shocking...

Things began to take a little twist beginning of 2011. I was more involved in sports and any sort of trainings thanks to the man I'm seeing. He believes in setting high standards and pushing oneself in fitness. The only way one can really build fitness is having the right mindset to push the limits. Going up Penang hill now is like a walk in the park. We like to explore different hiking trails together. When we don't workout together, we train on our own. I explored other fitness trainings and sports like dodgeball, Zumba and bootcamp. Sweating it out makes me feel good.

And all the hard work I put in has finally paid off. With 19% body fat ( slightly a little lower than average), not only I look healthier (no longer looking pale and sickish or chubby and bouncy with muffin top) but I also feel better; more confident and satisfied with my own body.

So yea, excuse this little post.. I just need to brag a little after all the hard work!
